Weekend Retreat for
Norwich Women Mitras
1 space in the house and 1 camping space remaining
It was wonderful to experience ourselves together as a women's sangha last year and the new venue of The Grange worked well for us.
We will build on this in 2017 by exploring together what is the best way to practise in different areas of our lives and with different kinds of beings - with talks, sharing experience, meditation, ritual and fun. We will also inspire ourselves by looking at our heroines, women we feel do or have practised effectively to make a difference in the world.
The Grange is a former vicarage now a 10 acre small holding which works with asylum seekers and survivors of torture by providing a safe space in the country for them to go.
The money we pay to the Grange, which is by donation, will help these groups who don’t have money to go there. Last year we were able to give £500 and extra personal donations. People were very inspired by the place.
There are 14 beds and 3 camping places. There are no huge dormitories. Accommodation is in rooms of 2 - 4 beds. You will need to bring your own bedding: sheet, duvet covers, pillow slips, towels etc.
