Sun 17 Jan
10am – 12pm
We all want certainty, guarantees, predictability. This desire is based on the illusion of control; of ourselves as agents with the power to set up security and safety in our lives. The root of this illusion is our fear of death, of not existing. All this the Buddha saw clearly and is why he taught us the meditation practices we have today. All meditation allows us to explore our mind and the ignorant layers which hide our innate wisdom. Giving up control is immensely freeing. This morning of meditation will help us turn towards each moment where we can relax into the freedom of not knowing.
NOTE this event is silent from arrival to departure.
