Suitable for: Beginners who have learned our two meditations and Regular Sangha Members

Putting aside time to do a weekend home retreat gives us the opportunity to do things differently at home to bring calm, peace, and inspiration into our busy lives whilst being supported by a like-minded community of people. Its purpose is to renew and refresh us but also to set up new habits which will help us to thrive after the retreat ends. And the great thing is that you get to sleep in your own bed!

On this retreat we will be treating ourselves to time and space to ground the meditation we have learned, reflect, practise stillness and contentment and simply be. The team will be suggesting inspiring ideas for your toolkit for thriving and not just surviving in these times, including a talk on the Buddha’s key teaching on the Four Perfect Efforts.

We aim to have a spacious programme with plenty of breaks:


Friday evening 7.30pm - 8.30 Welcome and introductions


Session 1 7.00am - 8.15 am Two led meditations with leg stretch

Session 2 10.30am - 12.10 Teaching session, groups (20 min coffee break)

Free time

Session 3 4.30 - 5pm Led meditation

Session 4 7.30pm - 8.30 Teaching session, groups, meditation


Similar morning sessions to 12 noon

2.00pm - 3pm Final session

Cost: £25 to book plus a donation at the end of the retreat. We operate on the basis of generosity so please pay what you can afford.
