"NBC's foundation course provided a pivotal period of growth in my life. It introduced me to Dharma study that gave new depths to my practice in a nurturing environment of trust and openness. Most significantly it opened my eyes to the possibility of personal transformation. Not just a vain hope, but a tangible, realisable goal I could work towards with the support of my newfound spiritual friends and the warmth of the Sangha."
"The Foundation course has allowed me to pursue and deepen my interest in Buddhism. The course teachers have been amazing at meeting everyone in the group wherever they're at, opening up awareness and deepening insight. The course content has encouraged self-reflection at the same time as deepening knowledge, and the home practice has enabled Buddhist practices to be made a part of daily life. This has given me a stronger groundedness in life, a deeper meditation practice and greater insight into living a more balanced and joyful life. Meeting and learning with the other participants in the group has widened my own thinking in ways that wouldn't have been stretched by myself".
