Natural Awareness - Wider than an Unbounded Sky, Deeper than a Bottomless Ocean
**Please book by 2.30pm 14 Jan so we can send you the Zoom link**
A silent morning of meditation and reflection with Vajraguptā
I think it was Shunryu Suzuki Roshi who first talked of Big Mind and Small Mind. Small mind is our deluded mind, which is constantly trying to protect our sense of self. It keeps us small with worry and self-consciousness. Big mind is the nature of mind itself, our true nature; luminous, clear and unbounded.
“Once you have recognised the true nature of reality, which is empty and at the same time appears as the phenomenal world, your mind will cease to be under the power of delusion.” (Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche)
To recognise our true nature we need to discover how to relax, how to drop expectations, hopes and fears and how to allow thoughts to arise and pass just as our other sensations do. Join me for a delve into spacious awareness.
