A silhouette of a meditating figure may be the quintessential image of Buddhism – but most Buddhists live their lives outside of monasteries. In this short three-week course, we’ll look at applying Buddhist principles to whatever one is engaging in — getting ready in the morning, driving, shopping, going to work, and all our day-to-day pressures and stresses. We can tune into what is present in the moment, and reflect skilfully on the past and future. The Buddha’s core teachings can alleviate stress, boredom, and drudgery by inviting us to be aware.
