Join us at the Centre for a day retreat led by Paramabandhu, President of the Norwich Buddhist Centre. This Day Retreat is open to Regulars and those completing the Meditation Challenge. A retreat is a great opportunity to leave behind your day-to-day routine and go deeper into your practice. The day will include meditation, Buddhist ritual, talks, discussion and plenty of time to relax. During the day we will explore pleasure and Metta through the body. Bring vegetarian lunch to share.
Dr Paramabandhu Groves was for many years a consultant psychiatrist specialising in addiction psychiatry. He trained in medicine at Cambridge University and University College London. He was a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and a former chair of the College’s Spirituality and Psychiatry Special Interest Group. He has also trained and worked as a Core Process Psychotherapist.
Paramabandhu was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order in 1990. He has lived and taught at the London Buddhist Centre for over 20 years.

These are difficult times for us to keep afloat financially. Please bear us in mind. The Norwich Buddhist Centre’s work is financed by the generosity of those who come along. However we don’t want to turn anyone away from our courses. If you have difficulty paying, please contact the Centre team on info@norwichbuddhistcentre.com and we’ll work something out with you.
