The Buddha’s teaching on Impermanence

The Buddha teaches that all conditioned phenomena are impermanent, insubstantial and unsatisfactory.  Impermanence can be a challenge but also a true gift, empowering us to move forward from a trapped mindset or a lifestyle with limits.  Each of us can become wise and compassionate beings able to meet challenges with an open, receptive, kindly heart.

This evening’s full moon puja will begin with a discussion of impermanence in our own lives, followed by a period of reflection.

Please feel free to bring a reading on impermanence, spiritual or non-spiritual, a poem or a few lines of prose text – these will be included in the reflection.

We will close the evening with a 7-fold Puja.
