Join us for our Full Moon Gatherings! We will be meeting together at the Buddhist Centre monthly, as the Buddha and his disciples used to do each month – when the moon is brightest – for puja, meditation and practice. One of our Sangha chapters or study groups will facilitate each event.
This month’s event will be a celebration of Tara, the compassionate Bodhisattva. Her mudras (gestures) are of generosity or giving, and of reassurance or faith in the Three Jewels.
In the first part of the evening Bodhivajra will lead some Tara mantra chanting and meditation. The second half will be a Tara puja called Midnight Star, led by Viprasanna.
