GASP! Workshop Morning

We have many creative people in the Norwich Sangha – painters, poets, writers, makers, musicians, shrine-builders, calligraphers. How might we respond to the teachings of the Heart Sutra through our various arts media?

Bodhivajra invites you to take part in his new art initiative where we can explore the Heart Sutra and our responses to it through different art mediums – not only through painting and drawing, but in whatever creative way you chose. You could build a shrine, make a short film or compose some music. Just as ‘in emptiness there are limitless possibilities’, so too there are limitless forms to be created! The vision is to put on an exhibition of all the works at the Centre and of course come closer to the Heart Sutra’s meaning, closer to the essence of Wisdom.

Join Bodhivajra for this morning workshop to explain more about the project, as well as some short activities and inspiration to get your creative juices flowing!
