Introductory Meditation Morning
Saturday 7 September 2024 10am – 12 noon
Join us for an opportunity to try out two essential Buddhist meditation practices – the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (Loving-kindness meditation). Practiced regularly, these meditations can help to develop awareness, clarity, kindness, friendliness and calm and positive states of mind.
The morning is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience looking for a refresher.
We’ll look at posture and settle with a ‘body scan’. You’ll then be led through both meditations and have the opportunity to share your experience with the group.

Please arrive by 9.45am for a prompt 10am start.
