ALL YOU NEED IS… LOVING KINDNESS

Most people have heard about mindfulness these days, but ‘metta’ may be less well-known.

The metta bhavana is a meditation practice originally taught by the Buddha as an antidote to fear.

‘Metta’ means love, or universal loving kindness, and the meditation allows us to experience ourselves and our emotional states with more openness and receptivity.

With some practice, we find out that we are better people – kinder, more loving and creative – than we thought we were.

Please join our four-week course exploring this practice with Satyagita and friends, from Tuesday 6 June, 7-9pm.

For beginners, or people who already know the practice and perhaps find it a mystery or a struggle.

These are difficult times for us to keep afloat financially. Please bear us in mind. The Norwich Buddhist Centre’s work is financed by the generosity of those who come along. However we don’t want to turn anyone away from our events. If you feel unable to pay the prices offered, but would benefit from this event and you’re on Universal Credit, a student or under 25, please contact us at info@norwichbuddhistcentre.com.
