Over the past year, I have completed a series of paintings featuring simple wooden red structures. Some of these structures appear real and are supported by the ground, while others float in a vast space, seeming less tangible. Despite their apparent solidity and reliability, upon closer inspection, these structures cannot exist in the way that they appear. A selection of these paintings will be on show alongside some earlier work, which will provide an exciting contrast of styles and an indication of the development of my painting.
