Padmasambhava Day – Advice from the Lotus-Born
Come explore the rich teachings of the ‘Great Guru’ Padmasambhava. His life, example and uncompromising teachings offer us pathways to deepen our practice, understand what holds us back and to enter into a mystical realm that offers opportunities for deep transformation, if we dare to follow his advice!
Please book in advance so we know numbers and bring vegan lunch to share. Arrival from 9.30am for a prompt start at 10.00am.
Programme
9.30am: Doors open for a prompt 10am start
10.00am: Preparing the ground – welcome, introduction to the day and meditation
11.00am: Meeting the Guru – Invocation to Padmasambhava and Puja
followed by a tea break, then: Receiving the Teachings
12.30pm: Sitting with our backs against the stupa – ritual and offerings
1.00pm: Shared lunch
1.45pm: Taking his advice to heart: short talks by Amrtasara, Nirajamani and Dharmavadana then groups
3.00pm: Finish with a closing ritual – receiving the blessings and dedication of merits
