Padmasambhava Day

Open to All  – 9.45am arrival for a 10am start

Celebrating the life of the great enlightened Buddhist teacher Padmasambhava, the lotus-born vajra-holder. Through hearing about his life, example and teachings, we can discover pathways to deepening our own practice, and ways of bringing about a vibrant Sangha right here in our community. Padmasambhava gained renown for taming malevolent forces and aligning them with the teachings of the Dharma. How does this resonate with us? What internal and external adversities do we grapple with, and what barriers must we overcome to practise the Dharma effectively?

The day will consist of talks in the morning by Padmadaka and Srirajni, followed by questions and discussion. After a shared lunch, Bodhivajra will lead a workshop and ritual. So we’ll be exploring the themes with our more rational sides in the morning, and in the afternoon using sound, image, chanting and spoken verses to summon up our positive emotional energies.

Bring vegetarian lunch to share.  Please book your place
