Join Saroja on this three-week Buddhism course and learn how to go beyond your own personal ideas of beauty and the limiting boundaries of the “self”. We will discover the deep connections between aesthetics and spiritual experiences. Properly approached, appreciation of art can lead to states of heightened awareness and understanding.
We will learn how beauty is more than just a stagnant concept. It emerges from the present moment, and is constantly available as a transformative spiritual experience – if only we can bring enough awareness to the present moment. Through a series of talks, guided meditations, practical exercises and plenty of opportunity for discussion, this course will reveal the secrets of beauty and awareness in Buddhism, and help you to begin seeing with fresh eyes.
