Awake to the World, Bringing Aliveness to our Practice
ㅤ
‘Buddha’ means one who is awake, fully alive to how things really are. So it’s worth asking ourselves, ‘in what way am I not awake?’ We can look at this question philosophically by contemplating what the Buddha meant by spiritual ignorance, and we can also approach the question experientially through the development of mindfulness. As we know, mindfulness is the practice of being present, here and now, aware of our sensations, feelings, emotions and thoughts, without judging or trying to alter them. Join me for a morning of wakefulness which will include a short talk and two led meditations.
