Sunday Sesshin

If you’ve been meditating regularly, you’ve likely felt its positive impact. While you enjoy our Wednesday Meditation Nights, it feels like you’re just getting settled when the period of meditation comes to an end. You want to deepen your meditation practice but aren’t sure how.

In this Sesshin, we’ll blend guided meditations on mindfulness of the body, the six senses, and the four Brahmaviharas of metta, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity. Short breaks will be provided, but the focus is on maintaining a steady practice momentum throughout the session.

This Sesshin welcomes competent meditators, from experienced regulars to those who have been meditating for at least six months and are eager to deepen their practice. It will be led by Alokadhara, an experienced teacher who draws inspiration from guiding practitioners into deeper meditation experiences.
